Advanced Mass Spec. Data Generation
Metabolon’s Global Discovery Panel detects more unique metabolites than any other platform available today.
Samples are processed using ultra high-performance liquid chromatography/tandem accurate mass spectrometry (UHPLC/MS/MS) methods. This level of precision generates a vast amount of high-quality raw data. All systems are operated according to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) in a rigorously controlled environment to remove as much variability from the process as possible.
Our hyper-focus on data quality means that extra samples are reserved for quality control to ensure comparability of your results.
Data Curation and Metabolite Identification
Expansive metabolomics data sets often contain noisy ion features. Our proprietary technology filters and processes data using a chemocentric approach to rapidly and efficiently remove noise and positively identify metabolites.

The MyMetabolon client portal—hosted securely in the cloud—allows you to access, share, and visualize your metabolomics data. Within you can utilize a multi-functional data display that incorporates heat maps, charts, pathway enrichment data, and an annotated biochemical “Network View”—an interactive visual rendering of the data within the associated metabolic pathways—for each experiment.
Results can also be viewed in the context of the whole metabolome with our curated Pathway Map—an interactive visual rendering of all charted biochemical pathways. This provides a more holistic picture of your metabolomics study results and empowers deeper understanding of biological significance.
